Prof. Hasan Tanyeri, MD graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University School of Medicine, in 1984. He completed his Ear Nose and Throat residency at Hacettepe University School of Medicine, in 1990. He went to United States for higher degree, in 1991.

Between 1992 – 1994, he worked as research assistant, at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles California, on inner ear balance organ subject matter. He passed USMLE I, II and III examinations, respectively. He completed General Surgery residency at New York University School of Medicine between 1994 – 1995 and Ear, Nose and Throat residency at New York Lenox Hill Hospital between 1995 – 1996. He practiced as Clinical Fellow at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center, on Head and Neck Surgery, Nose and Sinus Diseases. Between 1999 – 2000, he worked as ENT specialist at Illinois School of Medicine, Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center and Edgewater Hospital. Between 1998 – 2001, he worked as an instructor in advanced surgical techniques in ear nose and throat training courses which are held by Rush University every year. Nose and sinus diseases, snoring, obstructive sleep apnea diagnosis and surgical treatment are his special areas of interest. He received Associate Professor title by examination in Turkey, in 1999, while working as an instructor at Rush University in USA. He taught courses about surgical treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea at American Otolaryngology Academy – Head and Neck Surgery, in September 2000. He has over 50 presentations and over 20 publications in American Literature. He is a member of American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and American Medical Association.

Prof. Hasan Tanyeri, MD, who became Associate Professor in 1999 and full Professor in 2000, was granted Honor Award by American Otolaryngology Academy – Head and Neck Surgery in 2012, for his contribution to scientific activies such as publishing, presentation and committee events. Prof. Hasan Tanyeri, MD, who assumed the position as Vice Dean at Acıbadem University between 2008 – 2010 and subsequently the position of Dean between 2010 – 2014 and Head of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Department between 2015 – 2016, has been a member of Acıbadem Health Group since 2000 and currently accepting patients at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital.
